K2 TIMETABLE HAS BEEN UPDATED - 24TH JUNE 2008
The Timetable for K2 classes has been revised to make it clearer who can attend classes. There is no change to actual class times or content it is only the wording that has been altered. K2 Timetable

GRADUATIONS - 29TH MARCH 2008
The 29th of March will be graduation day for students who have gained a new belt and also for those who are successful in their Blackbelt/Dan gradings.

KARATE COMPETITION - SWINDON - 9th MARCH 2008
The Academy recently visited an invitational competiton in Swindon and we were very proud of all the students who attended. This was a well organized event with a high standard of competition. Read more

BLACK BELT GRADINGS/REQUALIFICATIONS - 22nd & 23rd MARCH 2008
The Academy will be carrying out Black Belt gradings and requalifications over the weekend of 22nd & 23rd of March. This is possibly the toughest of tests as students move across and into the Dan grades and the Academy whishes all the students taking part every success in their endeavour

KARATE PARTIES - 2008

GRADUATION - 30th SEPTEMBER 2007 -
Our next graduation ceremony will be on 30th September 2007 at Hazelwick school 'South Hall' at 2:30pm. Good luck to everyone currently grading, we look forward to seeing you all for the ceremony.

CIMAC WORLD CUP - 8th JULY 2007 -
On the 8th July 9 year old Jordan Clements and 8 year old Jack Foyster, both members of the Crawley Blackbelt Academy entered the CIMAC Superleague World Cup 2007 at Windsor.

BASINGSTOKE COMPETITION - 17th JUNE 2007 -
Five students travelled to Basingstoke to represent the Academy in a competition on Sunday 17th June. All five took part in their relevant sections for fighting and fought extremely well.

CIMAC BRITISH OPEN - 13th MAY 2007 -
On Sunday 13th May 2007 Josh Meeks travelled to Birmingham for the Cimac British Open. Josh fought in both continuous and points sparring and also the Music Weapons category of Kata.

STUDENT BIO - JONATHON HARROLD
Jonathon (blue belt) student recently received a nomination to receive a youth achievement award, was presented with a certificate at the Hawth and had his photo taken for the local paper. The Academy were delighted to hear about Jonathons efforts and asked Jonathon's mum Vanessa (also a student) to tell us more about Jonathon's work. Read more

CIMAC NATIONAL SUPERLEAGUE 04 FEBRUARY 2007 -
On Sunday 4th February, Jack Foyster and Jason Harrold attended the Cimac Super league in Windsor. It was quite nerve racking as both Jack and Jason were ½ inch too tall and had to go up to the next height category.

Our first graduation ceremony/display at K2 took place on the 12th of December 2006 and we hope that you all enjoyed the presentation. DRESS UP NIGHT - HALLOWEEN 2006 K2 CRAWLEY 2006
It is a bit of a tradition to allow students to dress in Halloween costumes for classes at this time each year and we had a really good turn out for 2006. Academy student Daniel Taplin is an accomplished sportsman who not only trains as an advanced Student but also participates in Football, Athletics and Swimming. BNMAA INTERNATIONAL S.FACTOR FINALS- 01 OCTOBER 2006
On Sunday the 1st October 2006 the British National Martial Arts Association held its World Martial Arts Championships at Crystal palace national sports centre. Three Warriors of Crawley Black Belt Academy Jason Harold, Jack Foyster, and Jordan Clements stepped up for the challenge. Read more here

CRAWLEY BLACK BELT ACADEMY ORIEL HIGH MAIDENBOWER - SEPTEMBER 06
Oriel high school is the latest location for Crawley Black Belt Academy. There is a beginners class every Monday from 5.00 pm to 5.45 pm, which is taking place in the gymnasium so come along and have some fun hope to see you there.

MR COLYER OPENS NEW SCHOOL - 4TH SEPTEMBER 2006
Congratulations to Mr Colyer! he has passed all his N.V.Q's on Instructing health & safety, child protection and coaching and this year he passed a two day instructor course with Blackbelt Schools International. Now that Mr Colyer is a fully qualified Instructor he is going to open his first New school in Maidenbower on Monday September 4th and we wish him every success.

NATIONAL S FACTOR COMPETITION (BRISTOL) 11 JUNE 2006 -
A round of the excellent S Factor series was held at Bristol on the 11th of June and Jordan Clements showed huge commitment to travel all the way down there to take part. It seems that the journey was worthwhile though as Jordan took an excellent 2nd place in his sparring category. Congratulations Jordan from all at the Academy. To view a larger image click here

GRADUATION REPORT 26th March 2006 -
Thank you to everyone who attended the recent graduation ceremony and congratualtions to all those who successfully graded. Once again the various displays were to a very high standard and we hope that everyone enjoyed the afternoon. The academy is very proud of all it's students and their acheivements and whilst it is impossible to name everyone we would like to take this opportunity to congratulate them all. More info....

BNMAA NATIONAL S FACTOR COMPETITION (HORNCHURCH) 26 FEBRUARY 2006 -

GRADUATION DAY 26 March 2006 -
Graduation day for all students is 26 March 06. Presentations and demos will be held at Hazelwick School and we look forward to seeing you there. A handout has been given out during classes over the last week or so and it is important that you book your seats in advance so please contact Senseai Sue if you have not received the handout.
GRADINGS FOR DAN GRADES SET FOR 18/19 March 2006 -
Dan Grades will be testing on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 March 2006 at Hazelwick School. Good luck to all those taking part. The graduation date for all students should be on 26 March 2006, however this has yet to be confirmed.
CIMAC NATIONAL SUPERLEAGUE 05 FEBRUARY 2006 -
On February 5th our young superstars went to Windsor sport centre to take part in one of the biggest competitions of the year its called cimac super league . All did very well and all came home with trophies.

NEW TIMETABLE STARTS 14th NOVEMBER 2005 -
The Academy will commence lessons at the K2 facility from the above date and will also be working to a new timetable. Although the new timetable will not come into effect until this date we have updated it on this site via the timetable link on the left. 'BATTLE OF THE BRAVE' COMPETITION RESULTS 23rd OCTOBER 2005 -
The Nathan Marsh academy held a great competition in Kent on the 23rd of October and our academy was very well represented again. Our students took honours in no less than 12 categories on the day and our pride and respect goes not only to the following who received trophies but also to all who those who attended. More info....

GRADUATION DAY 2nd OCTOBER 2005 -
The graduation date for all students will be on the 2nd October 2005 at Hazelwick School from 12 noon to 5pm. After all the hard work Students will get their chance to impress the audience with their new skills. There will also be various displays (including breaking) so this should be an exciting afternoon.

KUDOS FREESTYLE COMPETITION RESULTS 25th SEPTEMBER 2005 -
The Academy was well represented at the recent Kudos Freestyle Competition. Our representatives took honours in Kata, Weapon Kata and sparring in both Junior and Senior levels.
